  • Members must be 62+ years of age and reside in Orleans Parish.

  • As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Lakeview Shepherd Center suggests a monthly $20 donation, which can be paid annually or on the first of the month. No one will be denied membership due to inability to donate.

  • Interested seniors are invited to visit any weekday during operating hours.

  • To sign-up as a member, seniors must complete an application packet and provide a valid photo ID and copy of your Social Security Benefits statement or other approved proof of income. These documents must be updated in our files annually to maintain membership.

  • Morning coffee and continental breakfast.

  • Daily hot lunch.

  • Full access to all programming, events and exercise classes.

  • Shuttle transportation to and from the center (for members within the 70124 and 70122 zip codes).

  • Members can attend the full-day or drop-in for meals, classes or specific events.
